On Lake
Huron at the Detroit Edison Harbor Beach Power Plant.
The facility is open dawn to dusk. The site has
ninety-two car parking spaces barrier-free restrooms,
a signed walkway for wildlife viewing, 1,480 feet of
barrier-free shoreline fishing, and five barrier-free
fishing piers. There is no fee to use this facility.
Bathing Beach Park
Trescott Street
Large sandy beach, a public swimming area, sunbathing, summer
lifeguard, restroom facilities, playground, picnic
tables & grills, beach volleyball nets and a
lighted, handicapped accessible fishing dock. Ample
seating on the 1015 foot lighted Trescott Street Pier.
Davidson Park
Court Street
Picnic tables, grills, a pavilion, playground equipment,
basketball and tennis courts, and restrooms.
Memorial Park
200 North Huron Avenue (next to the Community House)
Features the Veterans Memorial, park benches, drinking
fountain, flowers, and shrubbery that enclose the
memorial. A bicycle path leading to the North Park
Complex also starts here.
